Lost cat was found
My cat was missing for two days and I finally decided I better get some help but as soon as we made the pawboost post I walked outside in hopes of her returning outside the door she went out and called her name and I heard her crying back. I kept calling softly as to not frighten her and she stuck her paw out from under the house!
We dug a little hole so she could crawl out and removed some siding and she slowly came out towards us and we were able to get her back inside!
Pawboost was quick in making social posts for her and the tips and suggestions we got helped us to get her back into the house. Thank you so much!

Positive experience
I had two cats come to my door hungry and cold. I suspect they were left behind when a neighbor moved away.
I found out about Pawboost from Erie Animal Network and contacted them. Pawboost puts out alerts for lost pets and for pets that are found, including pictures, location of the finding or the loss, contact info, etc. They also warn you about unscrupulous practices some people might try on you. The staff was very helpful in updating my listings as things developed.
You can also search through their listings for your area if you have lost a pet.
I think its a valuable service. Though the owners of these cats didnt come forward the commentors had good suggestions and the cats are getting the care they need.

My lost cat post is lost in the shuffle…
I posted my lost cat on every social media platform that has been available to me, Since I posted Bear lost I have had many, many more responses through my own community on the Nextdoor app. I believe that my cat Bear has been lost in the shuffle of new posts, understandable there are new pets that lost and posted daily, even hourly that puts my lost cat to the bottom of the lost list .
That dont make me sad or angry because the faster people know of a lost or found animal the better chance of reunification with the pet owner. My beef is that I dont have the ability to refresh or repost my lost pet post again, it says that I already have a account, well yes I do and with that being said I should still receive the matchs that are newly found pets that match the account and post that I already have. I dont have the abilities to repost my still lost pet and I no longer get matched with cats that are just brought into the surrounding shelters and rescues. I think that my Baby Bear has been lost in the shuffle and I dont get notified of new cats that are brought in that match and look just like my lost love.
I personally have to search for him daily and I would do that anyway but just because he has not been brought into a shelter that doesnt mean that he never will be brought in. I understand that PawBoost is for profit but if you list my lost pet for free why is it that just because I havent found him or nobody else has found him, why do I now have to pay to keep him from dropping off this list of lost pets, you already have all the information that was listed for free so why is it now that I have to pay to keep him on a list of lost pets and get listings of new pets that are fit him and match the same description to my still lost pet.

Preferred solution: I would be more hopeful in finding my cat if I could continue to be notified of new intakes
User's recommendation: Let people that have a lost pet have more time to get newly found pets get notified of new matches for their still lost pet after 7 days of them being lost. We should be able to refresh the account that we already have if we have not been reunited with them. We should always be notified of new matching pets that are newly found pets until we post a reunification with our found pet, or at least we should be able to refresh our post after 7 days so we can continue to be notified of new pets brought in that fit the description of our lost pets. Personally I have had much more success with people who have sent pictures of cats they have seen in the community that sounded like the description of my original lost pet post

Resolved: To let people know my experience
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology.
My dog Bubba got loose and he was in the shelter for 5 days and I finally got him today. He's healthy and he's home and even tho I had trouble at the shelter it got resolved and I was able to get my boy back home. Where he belongs which is with me thank you all for your help thanks to paw boost I got him back !!

I would have never found my cat without PawBoost!
I would have never found my cat if I didn't use PawBoost. He was lost for 12 days and our neighbors about a mile away spotted our cat after seeing the post on Facebook.
They contacted us right away and we were able to get him back.
He would still be lost if it wasn't for PawBoost. Highly recommend!

Appreciate the platform
We found him a few miles away safe in someones backyard. Not sure how since the story doesn't really make sense, but im happy he was seen and i was alerted via facebook

To help other dog owners find there pets
Without your service so many dogs wouldnt be reunited with there owners. I used the free membership to create a flyer, and put my dogs face out there on the internet.
I found my dog through her microchip, but if I hadnt found her, I wouldve paid for the service that you guys have for extra and I recommend this company to anyone that loses a pet!! Its user friendly and helps get the info out to the world very quick

They helped me bring my boy back home
My dog went missing and I first posted it on citizen but got little to no views. Then I heard about pawboost.com and they made flyers posted him on Facebook and shared my post on Nextdoor including sharing and altering shelters all free of charge. Within 4 days my boy was back home safely someone had picked him up and returned him back home to me because of the post made about my Shiloh shared everywhere, Im beyond grateful!!

Some has my dog and won't give him back too me
My posted lost chewy Chihuahua was off found on Sept 20 and rehomed I can't get i touch with the finder this is illegal this is my pet of 6 yrs I want my dog back.i have been looking none stop for three months this is my dog why would someone tell me where he is rehomed. Theno rec. finder will not answer me and on the post it says message from finder rehomed

Helped find my cat
First off, this website literally helped me find my cat. Connected through Facebook group chats and on their website showed me direct found cats from shelters nearby.

Found dog and needed help finding owner
I found a little Chihuahua and needed help finding her owners. I do not have FB or any social media so I created an account which was extremely easy, posted the dog and she was reunited by the next morning. Paw Boost is an application that will quickly alert all surrounding areas with the click of a button!

All lost pet alerts on PawBoost are eligible to be boosted back to the top of the lost and found database every three days at no cost. We also send periodic emails asking if your pet is home safe, and replying “no” to those emails automatically refreshes and bumps the alert so it continues to stay visible and receive new matching notifications. If at any point you’re unsure whether your alert is active or need help refreshing it, our support team is always happy to assist.
